Zucchini blossoms

As I realize today is post 150, it makes me smile to see that friends of ours continue to read our posts and I hope that it helps them remain creative in the kitchen.

I am a big fan of a farmers market because it gives me a chance to try some new foods.  Last week I picked up some zucchini blossoms.  While I went ahead and made some fried zucchini blossoms, my friend Joe rediscovered an old family recipe, zucchini blossom pancakes.  He sent me this photo of dinner that night, zucchini blossom pancakes with halibut and a mango salsa.
