A blog by ordinary people about living an extraordinary life

2011 has been an exciting year for Meg and I. The year began with me making 2 resolutions. The first was to stop drinking soda and the second was to workout more. I started doing the Tony Horton P90X workouts, and while I was unable to walk for about 2 weeks, I really did start to see some results and started to feel much better. And it has been almost 9 months since I drank a soda.
This summer, Meg and I walked down to the Wakefield Farmers Market every Saturday morning. It is a great chance to get fresh, local vegetables, fruits, meats, fish and other products (including some very tasty gelato and salsas). It was during this time that we made the decision to stop eating commercially produced beef and chicken.
Garbanzopalooza is a place for us to share our stories, and for you to share yours. Since the change, the garbanzo bean has become a diet staple for us. This is a tribute to bean, and to a new way of life. Hopefully you enjoy it, let us know.
